Black

I am Black
I am the color of fear,
Yet there is nothing about me
That should cause fear.
I cover you like a blanket,
And keep you cool in the summer.

I am your favorite dress. 

I am a mix of all colors.

White cannot compare, 

With its lifeless airs.

White is the absense fo color, 

It has no excitement.

Black creates, I create.

I emply eternity

With my bottomless depths.

I am part of the window 

To your soul.

The simplicity of me is 

Elegant.

My existance has been 

From Alpha

And will last till Omega.

Do not think of me with fear, 

For I am with you throughout the year.

I go through life half living,

Hating all that I can't live.

Why,

If I hate so much,

do I long for it the most?

Maybe it is

The cat's curiosity,

Or maybe I'm a masocist.

So hate may be too strong

A word.

"Hate" is what people

Think I feel.

But The truth is,

I feel a carefully constructed Emptyness.

I build this to keep longing

From my heart.

Maybe Empty is what I seem to feel

Or maybe is is just an absense of Greed.

I have no wish to make mine

What is not.

If I do something or feel

It is on a whim,

Not out of Pride or Jealously.

So maybe I do go through Life half living.

But it is better than dying

While expecting to live,

And never actually doing so.

War, War

Constant War.

What makes them think that

War is a solution?

All War does

Is smother life.

If I had my choice,

War would not exist.

It is pointless to say

That it is unnessisary.

That much is obvious.

So stop the War,

Bring the Peace.
